As we wrap up 2023, I'm buzzing with excitement about what's coming up next. Reflecting on my year of blogging on the Child and Parent Resilience Blog, I've been brainstorming some cool ideas. I've loved diving into research and putting together these blogs, and your comments and questions have been the absolute highlight. 🤗 But hey, I get it—reading lengthy blog posts isn't everyone's jam. And squeezing all that good stuff into a social media post? Tricky, right?
So, here's the plan: workshops! Yep, thinking about taking this show online and maybe even some in-person sessions. And who knows, down the road, there might be group or one-on-one coaching sessions for parents. Don't worry, the blog's sticking around, just might be a tad less frequent. Oh, and I'm keeping up the socials, too—trying to get more of us talking and sharing.
The thought of all these fresh ways to connect and support parents and caregivers has me fired up! But, gotta admit, the whole business and tech side? Nerve-wracking! Still, I'm totally game for the challenge. 💪
Oh, and here's something close to my heart—I'm working on a book about supporting children through grief. I call it "The Elephant in the Room." This topic means the world to me. I've got this awesome outline and a start, but truth be told, I've been procrastinating on the writing part. But hey, 2024's the year! Making it a priority so I can share it with those who need it most. Stay tuned for updates on that!
